hey guys..just joined your group..JFYI..I joined at a higly busy period
BUT will contribute when I can.. this thread just caught my eye
spontaneously( that's always fun) so here goes....
a Pound is a pound is a pound ..no matter if it is a pound of oranges
or a pound of grapes... a pound of Fat takes up 5 times more
space/area than a pound of muscle... so when you Loose a pound of fat,
and Gain a Pound of Muscle, your weight remains the same, but you have
now created a more condensed package... make sense? Okay, that's my two
cents , now I have to get out of here and go train!
Take care everyone,

hmmm.... I think you need to ask a plastic surgeon who does
Liposuction.. He or She would know the answer surely... I don't dare
ask why this is so important to you... :-O!
Good Luck Gus...

I'm clearly missing something - less than thirty seconds of googling
gives:
skeletal muscle: 1.06g/ml
fat: 0.9g/ml
http://answers.google.com/answers/threadview?id=576481 ,second post
down.
Is there some objection to these figures? >> Stay informed about: By volume, how much does living human fat tissue weigh? Mu.. |

What volume? You need to define the volume here.

Reminds of that well known question "what weighs more, a lb of fat or a
lb of muscle?" Hint, it's a trick question.
