Might be perfectly innocent, but I've just noticed something I reckon
no-one will take into account. It's only done 48k miles, with a cambelt
change interval of 72k miles..... however, it's well overdue based on
it's age, plus Alfa have modified their recommendation to 48k mile
changes now.

So, whatever it sells for, you need to add £250-£300 for a service and
cambelt change straight away.

I know it's still early, Steve, but...

"Mileage: 49000"
"Full service history with the last service being at 47582 miles. The cam
belt was also changed as part of this service"

Well, it says 49k miles with the last service at 47582, with the cambelt
done at the same time.

WRT test drives; the auction welcomes test drives before it closes, but
not after. He's a trader; he's probably pissed off with people winning
and then wanting a TD or expecting to haggle.

But then I couldn't be arsed to go all the way down to Crawley to test
drive a car and find I don't like it. I guess stuff like this will turn
up closer to home; there's a '98 145 Cloverleaf on Autotrader, 73k miles
for £1300. Fog lights don't work in true Italian style Wink Razz

Bad form, but he appears to be a trader, so if anything is wrong with
it, you'd have a good case against him.

If he didn't play ball, I'm sure trading standards and C&E would be very
interested, too.

Then read it again, and pay attention to the words this time Smile

He says no test drives after the car has been won, but you are welcome
to come and have a look see whilst the auction is in progress.

That's the bit Smile

Never mind your suggestion.

Here's mine - how about you give it a rest, eh?

Or to put it another way, do you realise just how much of a cunt the
rest of the usenet community, (or at least those unlucky enough to come
into contact with your bile), considers you to be?

I can assure you that this conclusion is deduced purely from the very
posts you volunteer to usenet yourself, and there comes a point when
even someone as stubborn as yourself should be reflecting on just why
it is so many hostile posts are aimed at them.

Seriously... all you do every time you post yet more rubbish along the
lines of your usual fare, is alienate yet more people, and I'd strongly
suggest you seek help, before 'help' decides to seek out you.

I'm not sure he's really all that in control of his actions any more,
tbh.

I've seen enough - obviously someone who feels life's (unfairly) dealt
him a shitty hand, with the abuse of usenet users something he does to
bolster his failing confidence.

Which is all well and good... if your real identity and location isn't
also splattered across said medium. Wink

All very true JackH, but water off a Duck's back to the biggest lying troll
known to newsgroup Sad(

You haven't seen to what depths he will sink to troll the newsgroup Sad( and
then dismiss it as someone else's vile work, even condemning it!!!!
