I have recently started using a treadmill and was wondering if there are any
exercises I can do while on the treadmill to work my abs at the same time

If you use the treadmill faithfully you won't need to work on abs!

I wouldn't have thought so, maybe perhaps some obliques, certainly be
interested to hear of some..
Oh and of course you can still do crunches and hip flexion, but you
might want to turn the machine off first..

Nope, not kidding. Unless you're already in top condition. But for the
average person a treadmill gives very good overall exercise, even for the
abs.
