Hi, I suffer from severe plantar fasciitis and I wanted to ask the
collective wisdom of the group for advice on a suitable walking stick. I
will be walking on concrete pavement and inside buildings -- are there any
rubber-tipped sticks that will not scratch the floor?

Thanks

Check out the AVA (American Volkssport Association) store's website for
their Volkstaff walking sticks - they also sell rubber tips as well (lower
in their price list) at:
http://www.ava.org/avaspec.htm

Hehe, easier said than done. I've had the problem for about 8 years now, in
varying degrees of severity. I've already had various treatments. I am a
full-time graduate student and have to walk around campus a lot. I take
buses when I can. In the summer, I'll have more time to work on my health.
