It's very simple. Just read any article about how fitness will extend your
life. Then decide when you want to die; old or young!

It really depends on your goals. But in general,
find an activity -- any activity -- that __does__
motivate you. I suspect you are demotivated by
structured activities where you "stand in place".
(I include a treadmill in that cateory.) If that
is the case, try walking or biking outdoors. If
you don't like going in circles, have a destination
that takes at least 20 min to reach. Bring some
form of portable music, if that helps you.

Set modest, but ever-improving goals for yourself.
Reward yourself for meeting your goal by continuing
at that goal for a while. Then challenge yourself
to meet the next better goal.

Most importantly, set time aside for whatever
activity you choose to do. Find a time that
interferes least with whatever else you feel you
must do.

Eventually, exercise will be its own motivation.
