Tell him your three individual 'fluencies' Dally person, which as far
as I recall are:

1. 'Wendy Never Never Land' (Romantic Patois)

2. 'Utter Bollocks' (Accented to some degree with smattering of
'Head up Arse')

3. 'Rubbish with smatterings of Idiocy' (Complete with Mid-American
Twang)

There is a 4th but we are not allowed to mention it as it is for the
use only of the PC Brigade & Feminist Enforcement Section.

Have a great weekend Dally person, I have just managed to clear my
desk after a hectic week, with The Chairman, The Chief Executive and
The Company Secretary all on annual leave. Not too much playtime this
week but I'm up for it now, and will enjoy my weekend with more than
usual relish!! ;o)

TFIF!! (And I really mean that!)

I'm carefully not claiming fluency, but I have studied in school for at
least one school year the following languages: Spanish, Latin, French &
German. I have written papers at the college level in French & German.
I have written papers (for publication) at the graduate level in English.

Besides that, at one point I used BASIC, Fortran, Pascal, C & Ada. I
made a living programming in Ada. I never made the transition to C++.

So, c'mon TBR, I'm calling your bluff. In what three languages are you
fluent? What two additional languages do you have functional
competency? I won't test for spelling. So far all I saw was the level
of German you might get from staying on a U.S. Army base for 9 months in
1985. (I'm a Frau, not a Fraulein, by the way.)

That's not a "typo" you bullshitting bugger. It's a common mistake

Ever one to accept an invitation to talk about Dally, even when an
invitation wasn't offered, Dally once again droned on about Dally
thus:

Which in a nutshell says quite clearly that you are fluent, but not a
scholar, in American English only.

I adore the English language, but enough about me!

Could we have some more ramblings about Dally's multitudinous talents?
Perhaps you did Home Economics to PhD level. I'm sure we would all
love to have an in depth report on that!! ;o)

I'm off - yeeeeessssss!! ;o)
