I am 6'3', 225 lbs, and 60 y/o. I am going on a trip this fall where
we will be doing a lot of walking with 3 other couples in France. I
imagine it will be on roads, sidewalks, both indoors and out. I am NOT
a walker. I'm a tennis player. I would appreciate leads for where to
look for good walking shoes for a guy my size that don't look garish.

Any good reviews?

Thanks

New Balance. They last and they come in your size and width. I retire mine
to everyday use after about 1000 miles but they still are in very good
shape.
A previous brand lasted less than six weeks before being worn out.

I get last seasons models at Big 5 stores.

I had a pair of New Balance running shoes about 10-12 years ago. They
were feather light, but wore out quickly. I'll go check out the
walking shoes. Thanks

Have 5 pair of these.... best and most comfortable I have ever had for
walking, running, hiking, etc and I have tried lots of shoes. Good for your
weight and height too.
