They're every two weeks, so next one is Jan 27. I'll be running the 3k
in that meet. Will try the mile again in one of the Feb meets.
Cheers,

5:30. I run one every day before working out. It's the best way to get the
juices flowing. I'm sold on it hardcore. Been doing it since high school.

I think the lack of serious responses (although quite hilarious)
demonstrates the disconnect between bodybuilding and aerobic conditioning.
Responses like "hate running" is typical among meat heads. Well I"m not a
meat head, but can put up 315 (bench) and use 11 plates (each side) on hip
sled (and squat over 500lbs - bad back). I work real hard in the gym, but
the running is what keeps me lean and mean. It makes my veins just bulge
and keeps my fat levels at enviable levels all the time, without the ultra
diet. I maintain about 4-6%, and it's all do to running.

Make sure you find me and say hello, please. I'm always involved in
this in one form or another. Last year my son's 5th grade running club
did the 5k and he told me he didn't want me to run, but most years I
trundle through the 5k and then again through the fun run with son #2.

Who is chasing me? Freddie Krugger, or Brad Pitt.
I'd run much faster if Freddie was behind me that I would if it was Brad
Pitt. >> Stay informed about: how quick can you run a mile. |
