I want to add straight leg deadlifts to this whole body workout:
squats
benchpress
weighted dips
weighted chins
overhead press
standing alternating bicep curls
lying neck raise
I figure get all the big muscle groups worked early and either do them
first or after squats. Or maybe even wait until after benchpress and
give my lower body a little break. Any advice?
Thanks!!

Squats
Bench
Dips
Overhead Press
(your push muscles)
Deadlift
Chins
Curls
Neck Raise
(your pull muscles)
Rotate sequence, starting with push one workout and pull on another.

The classic dead lift uses the squat muscles to a greater degree but
the stiff legged deadlift is closer to a true pulling movement using
the spinal erectors.

I figured since I go pretty heavy on the weights when squatting that
the stiff legged deadlift makes more sense than the classic deadlift.
Is that correct? Or maybe I should just do both the classic squat and
teh classic deadlift?

The muscles used in a deadlift, for instance, the quads/glutes/lower back,
are those "pulling muscles"?

Which would mean that the antagonist of the spinal erectors, the abdominals,
are pushing muscles?

Here or maybe later.

Add a bent over type row in here. Try to keep the pushing and pulling
work reasonably balanced.

Upper body push and pull work that is.

Yes.
The mechanics of the two exercises are, in some ways, similair.
It doesnt make any sense to perform deadlifts for the quads/glutes/hams.
Like you said yourself, you allready squat heavy.

If anyone comes in between and tells you what wonderfull effects the
deadlift has on the upper body, let me say this;

Rows. Pulldowns. Shrugs. Wrist curls.

> Or maybe I should just do both the classic squat and teh classic deadlift?

Depends.
I DID do deadlifts in the past, to help me bring out the spinal erectors and
traps.
I didnt use that much weight, but it worked. However... when you allready
squat, it makes a lot more sense to do the SL dead. The pull seems to come
more from the hams, which makes this exersice a nice add-on to squats WRT
lower bodt development.

Again, if you squat, and also do SL deads AND rows, there is NO point
whatsover, to do regular deads.
