The grade between grade 3 and grade 5, of course.

Clearly misspelled?

The doc observed severE testicular atrophy?

Because, hey, if any doctor uses "advised" and "sever" in a sentence
referring to testicles? Well, I, for one, am seeking a SECOND opinion,
pal. Talk about your "need a new friend," woah!

C'mon, humor is support. Otoh, you could always sever your connection
to this newsgroup. I recommend you stick around and provide updates on
your situation.

Anyone contemplating using anabolics would do well to do a group MFW
Google search of your posting name to avoid similar consequences. Have
you posted exactly what you think you did (exact AAS and regimen) to
get to where you are now?

Best of luck with your evaluation and treatment.

Note to any journalists reading this ng: AAS shouldn't be illegal,
imo, but should be available - in combination with informed medical
professional recommendations and monitoring - to all who desire them.
Thanks.

Both androgens and estrogens close to zero?

He did what?

Sperm count after 8 months of test is close to zero. You can effectively use
100mg test/week as a form of birth control.

If a journalist is reading this, and contacts you, the following will be
written.

Steroid use will cause;

Gynocomastia
Testicular atrophy
Impotence
Infertelity
Depression

Dont think that jourmalist dont read this NG. They do.

Again, this is sorta prediction. Post steroid gyno and infertility go hand
in hand.

I know you do.

And if a journalist will contact you, you will tell him your reality.
More proof that steroids are bad.

Which is exactly what i did in 2002, when a local broadcaster read my
messages here.

I told them more or less everthing i knew, but all the "interesting" stuff
was cut away.

I really think that you better of with some basic knowledge, instead of
support. Really, i do.

he examined them in a very professional manner. not knowing their
size before i started using steroids he concluded that it was at least
a 50% shrinkage.

Uh, if the doctor had no knowledge of an initial measurement then on
what does he base the percentage of shrinkage conclusion?

Never mind.

Yeah, I know a couple that tried that. It didn't work. (test was 250mg/2
weeks).

Perhaps they were small to begin with?

I dont mean to upset you, but thats possible, isnt it?

OTOH, i am pretty sure every man more or less knows the size of his
testicles.

No, i meant do you think his observation is correct?

50% shrinkage is a lot of shrinkage.

And i am willing to bet you could do that same trick in 2 minutes in the
privacy of your own bedroom.

They often have a string of testicular shaped beads each with a
different size/development label. These are compared with the size of
the patient's testes. An adult male should not have baked bean sized testes.

Compared to norms, no, it is not bull.

A nephrologist would have the same issue not knowing the patients
"original" creatinine, but can make an estimate of the decrease in
kidney function based on norms.

i have learned in a support group that some men developed breast
tissue since they had to take certain life saving drugs. and they
balance the two problems and conclude that they would rather have the
breast tissue than the other option, death.

i just feel awful that what got me here was choice, not necessity.

For me, anabolics are life saving drugs. Combined with two
immunosuppressant medications they are keeping my bone marrow
functioning and keeping me away from a transplant with a 1 in 5 chance
of survival. Given my estrogen levels, it's surprising I have not
developed gyno. That said, I'd take gyno over death any day. I'd also
take life without all these damned injections over anabolics any day.

Ned, Shute has a point. The job search would be my focus, but, yeah,
man boobs just might be the primary motivater for that job search.
Even over rent and food. I mean you could live on the beach and eat
fruit from trees, but that chest will still be with you. Perky?
Pointing at you each and every day? No.

Pete - elsewhere in this thread - also has a point. Do you remember
when you stopped using? If you don't feel comfortable telling your
current doctor that it was a year ago then go to a different doctor
and start over. When he asks then you can tell him (with that
insurance in mind) that it was at least a year ago.

Best of luck.
