Hi everyone!

I'm a friend of hjrider from the other forum where we were before we decided to come here. Like she said we left because of problems so hopefully we don't run into any of them here.

Right now my goal is to lose the last 6 pounds on a goal I started when I set out to lose weight. My goal is to weigh 170.

My biggest weakness is when my parents come. When they are here I eat everything I shouldn't and then wonder why I gain all the weight back I lost (or at least 2 or more pounds). Now they will be here on 6/30 (3 days) and won't leave until 7/9 or so, so which means I need to eat fairly clean for those days if I want to make my goal.

Eating wise I try to eat every 2-3 hrs with a balanced diet (protein, carb, veg, fat) which equals out to 5-6 meals. Lately my hardest time is at night before I go to bed. I've been getting hungry about that time. I drink some water and try to hold off on the hunger.

I have 2 dvd's that I started out doing - boot camp for beginners and yoga for dummies. I got frustrated with the boot camp because I didn't think I was catching on fast enough and just stopped doing it. I started out for not doing for a week and get back on track but to be honest I haven't made it yet.

I've noticed (or I haven't seen it) that there is not a place for journals, so I will start my own like hjrider did. When I was on the other forum, I wrote what I did that day (housework or workouts) and what I ate that day or the day before. Some other people didn't think that was acceptable so I hope I don't break any rules here.

Hey, She. Good to see you here. Smile

I think we just need to take it one day at a time...possibly one MEAL at a time and just eat as well as we can.

Yes I agree. We'll just do the baby steps all over again like we've been doing.
