I'm in my mid-50s and work out 3X per week doing mostly heavy upper body
exercises (incline benches, chin ups, flys, dips, curls, etc). Been doing
this for the past 5 years. My muscles are a little sore after exercising
and stay that way until I workout again two days later. In other words, I'm
slightly sore all the time ...

)
Am I doing too much, or is this slight soreness normal? Should I wait for
all the minor aches to disappear before the next workout?
Also, I don't take any supplements. Should I? Protein? What should I take
to minimize sore muscles post-workout?
