Post subject: Best method for thin thighs?

I'm a 25 male, who usually weighs in at around 90kg. Over the last 6-8 months I have put on around 10 kgs and now my jeans don't fit around the thighs.

I've started dieting and but want some exercises or methods that will get rid of the fat without making my thighs big and muscley. Any ideas?

I really want thin thighs, I don't care if they aren't muscley, I don't want big muscley thighs at all, I just want them thin again Smile

Someone suggested running, is this likely to bulk up my legs?

The only way to thin your thighs is to reduce your overall body fat level. The best exercises are the ones that expend more calories overall. And no, running will not make them big and muscular. Go to a gym and use the machines that you push the weights out with your legs.

Medium speed walk is good to firm and slim down your thighs. I have been doing exactly the same thing for over two months already and I have noticed that the loosing fat at the back of my thighs has almost disappeared. I feel my thighs are firmer with tighter muscle. I do walking every alternative day now and last for an hour. When I started I did walk everyday. One additional gain from medium walk is, I could manage to release my stress from daily office work. Oh, one important point, never walk by the streets, instead, walk in a park nearby so that you could enjoy the silence ...Try it.

What's your diet like? Try increasing your metabolism by eating more meals throughout the day but smaller proportions. Do this in conjunction with the power walks.
