I sell treadmills but not either of these brands.
Either one is more than suitable.
Treadmills can fail if the user exceeds the limits of the machine and
causes the motor to burn out. eg 1 or 2 horse power motors can
sometimes be unsuitable if the user weighs more that 120 kilo or the
user opperates the machine at max speed or inclination for excessive
periods of time.ie run at 16 kph for 3 hours.
Be aware that some maintaince is necessary.
A/The belt will occassionaly need an adjustment, Most users will create
a bias one way or the other. This may mean that an alignment of the
belt will be necessay from time to time.
B/ Once a year or with very heavy use, 6 monthly - silicine spray under
the mat for 15 seconds.
C/ Some treadmill decks can develop squeeks and groans, this usually
easly fixed ( see your manual ) by removing sideboards of deck and re
tightening 4 screws on each side. (about 10 -15 minutes work for the
layperson)
My suggestion is to ask the salesperson to show you the 1/ Motor and
2/ show you how to preform your own maintaince on the machine before
you buy. May be the best machine for you is the one that is easiest
to work on.
My experience says that both those mills would be suitable.
