The right mix is highly personal. I have found that lifting weights has
become more and more important as I've gotten older, but there are 1000
ways to mix weights and aerobics.

The same goes for diet - try different things to find what works for
you. I eat almost nothing all day and a big dinner including lots of
carbs and can maintain, lose, or gain, depending on whether or not I'm
taking in more calories than I'm burning.

Probably not - not enough calories, not enough protein, too much
acidity (i.e. bad for the teeth and the stomach lining). At least, eat
some cooked veggies and some grains.

Tofu, beans of all kinds, eggs, milk products, various protein powders.
Look at the nutrition information for the food you eat (fitday is good
for that) - you need 0.8g of protein per 1 kg bodyweight, so plan
accordingly.

Thank you all again for taking time helping me out here. With all your
feedback and the research I did. I decided to switch weights(lifting
real weights, squats, pullups, dips, pushups) (3 days every other day)
and aerobics (2 days).

>Tofu, beans of all kinds, eggs, milk products, various protein powders.
thanks for the advice, will keep in mind. Will increase my food intake,
protein drinks but want to keep it low for dinner (blunder???).

I used to do general weights in circuit room but not free weights, have
to find a buddy who can spot for me. Also will look for free weights Do
and Donts.

>Start lifting real weights. May be bodyweight too. Try pullups, dips, pushups
I was in false impression that pushups increases your belly size...
dumb !!!!

Also one last question. 3 days weights and 2 days aerobics
(alternating), am I confusing the muscles or is it a just fine??

No, that workout routine is fine. Also, get a subscription to Mens
Health or similar magazine. They always have some sort of workout tips,
eating, etc. Don't forget to work on your diet. It seems to need an
overhaul.

No such thing as "waist trimming exercises". You can not chose a place
from where your body will burn fat. No matter what kind of exercises
you do.

Start lifting real weights. May be bodyweight too. Try pullups, dips,
one handed pushups, one legged squats and/or handstand pushups.

If you can not do handstand pushups yet, then try elevating your feet,
(support them on something, like a table) bend at the waist and perform
them this way. As you progress add some supports under your hands and
increase range of motion.

Do your resistance training before your cardio session.

Meat and fats are not necessary unhealthy. Buy some cottage cheese and
blend it with milk. Tastes very nice with cereal. Add some whey protein
or powdered milk too, if you will like the taste. You are probably
quite low on protein and maybe also low on important fats. Olive oil
and such can help.

> Max 700 calories for Lunch
> Max 300 for evening snack, No dinner

It is not much. You are starving yourself. It is not very efficient
short term solution (as you found out) and even worse long term. I mean
that after you will reach your goal some yoyo effect can kick in. Be
prepared for this.

First in, last out. No amount of crunches will change it.

> Can anyone guide me in good direction to loose the fat around stomach.

Lose more fat and it will finally come from your stomach. Build some
muscles, and you will look slimer with the same amount of fat.

You eat like a complete idiot.

There is nothing inherently healthy about being a vegetarian, and itıs
probably sub optimal for gaining muscle and/or losing fat. Rethink your
diet.

Just fine. You're not asking the muscles for driving directions, it
doesn't matter if they get "confused". They'll figure out what they
need to do.

Actually they will "decrease" it. I mean that if you will build bigger
chest, your belly will be overshadowed by it.

Seems fine.
