No extra e after the verb avoir to denote feminine, only after être in
the passé composé.
Bord is shore
Cities take the word à rather than en which is used for feminine
contires and states or regions.
It should be peu and masculine
When describing a duration it is normal to use the imparfait rather
than the passé composé
