In what weight class? 500 is a piss poor dead lift unless you are at the
very lightest weight classes. My old training partner pulled 650 in the
165 weight class back in the day and that was not a world record.

I should hope so, but which weight class seems an essential variable no?

That would be in Steve's (148 50-54 for a national record, 50-59 for a
world record) class.

No belt for that lift or any of mine, either.

Truth be told, I am giddy-silly-happy that I can pull 363 lbs. (363.8 is
the exact conversion so I call it 364 - but who's counting ...) as a
50-54 148-lb'er after what I've been through with my back. There really
aren't words to express what an accomplishment it feels like to have
done - sorry if that sounds sotty but it's the God's honest truth.
Records and whatever else don't come close to impressing me or the
people around me as much as the fact that I got back on the proverbial
horse and went from not being able to walk to being able to DL enough to
lift competitively in a powerlifting meet.

Almost makes you want to get some kettlebells, eh? Smile

Almost being the key word there. Nothing wrong with being proud of the
above. Congrats.
