I am replying to the subject line rather than to your message content.
The only thing that smith machines got going for them is that they
allow you to do a bench press without a spotter. Ergo, no exercise
partner is required.
They are rather primitive weight machines that do NOT offer optimal
workout stress over the entire range of motion.
As a weight machine they remove the challenges of 'weight control'
which are balance, control, and good exercise form.

I saw 'Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon' expecting to see a classical
oriental movie and got women's liberation meets Kong Foo. With combat
scenes so ludicrous that the actors were literally dancing across vast
distances of air; like a cross between Superman, Spiderman, and the
Matrix.
Anybody expecting to get real exercise advice in MFW is in for a real
surprise. Who let the Zoo out? >> Stay informed about: Smith Machines - good or bad? |

Which is why I later posted, "I was throwing a bone to those who wanted to
have it both ways, with
God creating evolution at some point. That way, they can sound like
rational persons by saying "of course evolution is reality" but still
satisfy that irrational human need for a supreme being by saying "but
God created the Universe and the natural laws which lead to evolution".
So, we agree.
Yeah, I'm scared, too.

Does that leave room for his BF, er, I mean "squatting partner" to lay
on his back under him?

Babelfish couldn't translate into English, Mike, but I'll give it a shot,
anyway
There are no certifications required to be a nurse. You have to graduate
from an accredited nursing school and then pass the licensing boards of the
state in which you want to practice.
Certain jobs within nursing, and certain advancements within nursing,
require certifications. I am, or have been, certified in emergency nursing,
pediatric emergency nursing, pediatric critical care nursing, oncology
nursing, prehospital nursing, paramedic medicine, advanced cardiac life
support, pediatric advanced life support, epidural analgesic administration,
and a few dozen more.
I have been told that I am "certifiable" and a "certified pain in the ass",
but, I never got those cards in the mail, so, I'm not sure.

If you believe in evolution god doesn't have to part of the scheme of
things. If you believe in god, you still have to believe in evolution.
Or you can believe in little green men from outer space but thats a
different kettle of fish altogether
