Ok here is the story , I have been on a low carb diet since oct. I am
at a really good weight 126 for my height 5' 5". I have been doing a
lot of weight lifting, and for a female I can get pretty heavy. I find
I am very strong which I personally like. Now I am still doing this
low carb diet, but am thinking of switching to body opus. I now have a
somewhat good muscle base, learning good form just need to lose the
body fat with out the muscles so more show. What do you think now of
changing an all low carb diet to a body opus diet? Any advise without
being slammed would be nice. I have read the book but just am a little
scared to change to the carbs on the weekends?? However I feel I need
to tweek this program now. Thanks !!!

great for weight loss but now things are different, I dont need to lose
weight, coupled with 7 months of lifting I need to lose body fat to
show more of my hard work. Your a sweet person, I read a lot of your

Nearly everyone who has been in this newsgroup since the late 1990s has
tried a cyclical ketogenic diet (CKD). They're reasonably effective if
you are compliant with the timing of the diet. Duchaine's BodyOpus is
a reasonably good one.

Just do what Duchaine suggests in his book. If something isn't
working, someone here can probably explain why.

Carbohydrate refeeds are a good thing. That is true for reasons that
even Duchaine did not understand when he wrote the book. Just
remember to lower your fat intake when refeeding.
