Post subject: New at walking
Archived from groups: misc>fitness>walking (more info?)

I started to do fast-walking an hour a day a week ago. It has helped me
to get rid of the knee and shin pains that I had after playing floor
hockey. I can now run faster and longer in my games since I don't feel
the pain anymore. I'm sure that people who don't walk will think that
walking an hour is not a workout. Well, maybe a workout for seniors...
Well, they should come with me and try to follow me. I thought myself
that it would be easy. It's not! I sweat a lot. I intend to walk an
hour daily for the rest of my life, as long as I stay healty, of
course. I would even venture to say that I want to play hockey in my
60's. I'm 41, and I am in the best shape of my life. It's already
almost Midnight and did not do my walking today... Well, it's not too
late to go. I'll wake up an hour later tomorrow.
