Thanks for the tip - for some reason 'proper' walking shoes,eg, the
leather kind always seem too heavy to me, and trainers make my feet
sweat...I suppose I'll find a pair to suit me eventually. >> Stay informed about: Best Shoes for walking |

I love my Ecco walking shoes. I've had them for a year and they are still
working just fine for me. I walk about 20 miles a week.

There are several good brands out there. I like Ecco shoes. I've had mine
for quite awhile. They have held up well (I walk around 4 miles a day) and
are very comfortable. I will definitely buy them again. The sizing is a bit
strange, though. I take an entire size smaller in Eccos than I do in regular
shoes. I just go by the fit and ignore what the size says.

How far are you planning to walk and why? My wife wears a pair of
shoes that weigh 3lbs each. Her 30 minute walks are equal to 60
minutes of an aerobic workout. Her legs are more toned after 2 months.
Check these shoes out at
www.magneticrevolution.com under the category of Fitness.
