Per 100 grams, that's true. But it's deceptive. Eggs contain more
than twice as much water as cheddar cheese, and as to actual
macronutrients, the protein:fat ratio is much higher for eggs.
Cheddar Cheese (100 grams):
Water (grams) 36.75
Protein (grams) 24.90
Total Lipids - Fat (grams) 33.14
Egg, Raw (100 grams):
Water (grams) 75.33
Protein (grams) 12.49
Total Lipids - Fat (grams) 10.02

Sure, if the rice is uncooked. But who eats uncooked rice? When both
are cooked, the numbers are a lot closer.
White rice, cooked (100 grams):
Energy (kcal) 97
Potato, baked (100 grams):
Energy (kcal) 93
