Hello People,
I'm a 39 year old Asian guy who's 5'9" and 213 lbs. I'm tired of
getting sand kicked in my face and am thinking of taking up
bodybuilding like I've been planning to all my life but just never got
around to.
Is it too late for me to get buffed? What kind of results can I
expect?
Thanks,
Patrick >> Stay informed about: Too old to get buffed? |

Muscle memory exists. It is real, but the mechanism is not clear. Not to me
anyway.
Example;
It takes you 6 years to build 40 pounds of LBM.
You get sick and lose all of it.
When you recover, it takes you about 1 year to gain it all back. Not 6
years.
AS + MM are a magical combination. You can rebuild 40 pounds in 3 months or
so.

Buy Arnold's book, The new encyclopedia of modern bodybuilding; it's
only $25 and tells you everything you need to know to do exactly what
you asked about
and you will also 1) never need to pay $50/hr to a personal trainer who
could be a total shmuck and 2) never need to rely on 2nd hand info from
people on this group who could be total shmucks
good luck

Again, ten bucks or so at www.amazon.com for those looking to save a
few bucks.

Which group? (You cross-posted, see?) And who's a possible "shmuck"?
> good luck
Still, I think I'll take a spin over to www.bn.com or the local brick
and mortar version and pick that tome up. Thanks again for the
encouragement.

LOL!
Interestingly, I think it was Nicholas Delbanco who noted the similar
hairstyles of Neo-Nazi skinheads and Nazi death camp inmates.

Wow, you say that like it's a bad thing.
Don't be jealous. Some of us don't just have muscles, but look young,
too! It's called a healthy, positive attitude. You might try that
once in a while and get off the internet. >> Stay informed about: Too old to get buffed? |

Can't molest someone who's showing you her ass and giving you her
number, loser.
But I definitely recommend that *you* leave the sexy teens alone. I
mean, a bald head and a caterpillar mustache?? Forget your abs, man --
try reworking your face! You look like a Saturday night in the
basement dungeon.
