Hi Everyone!

I need some help remembering the weight-lifting routine that is best. I
used to work out with a personal trainer, but he moved away and I
eventually lost my discipline. It is 8 years later, and I am up 30 lbs
and I don't even know how many inches. I just bought a home gym much
like Bowflex only made by Schwinn. I cannot remember which muscles to
exercise on the same days. Is it back with triceps and chest with
biceps or the other way around? I also want to ensure that I only tone
up and lose fat. I do not want to get bulky. I have no idea how much
weight I should be starting with in order to gain these results. Any
advice offered would be greatly appreciated!

Thank you,

Kelly (aka FitAt43)

Hi Kelly,

Here are a couple of links to get you started again. The info on these
site are more geared towards 'functional fitness' as opposed to a more
bodybuilding approach. Don't worry about getting bulky. It is very
hard for a woman to get bulky with weight training. Here's the links:

Good luck!

The machine usually comes with a manual that includes a basic exercise
program - use that.
