Not I. What is the reasoning behind this philosophy?

One can work any muscle every day if strength is the goal, including the
abs.

Let me first start out saying I am not a professional body builder. I
do how ever try to do what I can to keep my body in great shape. I
listen alot to a great friend of mine Bill Phillips. He and his
organization EAS has help me out alot when I first started body
building. I looked in the mirror one day and said what the hell
happened. I looked great in high school and now look at me. So I
started reading everything I could to help me lose weight (thats wrong
sorry to lose fat) as I actually lost fat and gained muscle weight and
to tone my muscle. I had a very large gut.

Now for your question: Anyone subscribe to the philosophy of working
abs every day? I do however work my abs daily. Your muscles are built
differently. Your ab muscles are of a finer grain of muscle that is
harder to break down (catabolism). While your arm and leg muscles are
more prone to break down (catabolism) with everday work outs. You need
to rest these other muscles so you will build bigger muscles with
protein synthysis (building of muscle). I do not agree with (One can
work any muscle every day if strength is the goal, including the abs.

I used to. But I've gone to every other day after discussions here on the
subject. Basically, it's a muscle like any other, and benifits by
rest...like any other.

Is that anything like a whiter shade of pale?

A great tune Suze rather spoiled by some indifferent lyrics, which
were written while they were 'stoned'!!

The line about the virgins heading to the coast is a case in point -
utterly meaningless!!
