First of all, sorry for my english, I’ll try to explain what I need to
know

I have to lose weight and don’t know if ellyptical cross trainers are
ok. I know that a low intensity program is ideal to lose weight (about
60-70% of max cardio rate for at least 30-40 minutes). With this type of
machine, can I remain within this range? Is it recommended for weight
lose? Thanks a lot

your english is fine.

you'll get a lot of answers on this one. some will be wierdo
so watch for those. they're easily recognized because
they have found the one TRUE way to lose weight.

but really, it's all about the calories. just eat less than you
use and you'll lose weight. some fat. some muscle. since
at this point you sound as if you have plenty of extra fat to
lose, just get going on it. you should be dropping a pound
or two a week. there'll be ups and downs depending on
hydration and when you last, you know, pooped... but
overall your trend should be down.

if it isn't, guess what, you're caloric balance is positive
or in is the same as out. eat a bit less or exercise a bit
more.

go to it. don't listen to those who say that they can't
lose weight by eating less. only fat people say that.
people with weight control can gain or lose at will
just by altering the caloric balance.

the only difficulty is accepting that sometimes you
will feel uncomfortable. yep. HUNGRY!! so it'll be up
to you to decide your goal. weight loss or comfort.
good luck...thehick
