Agreed, but always good to have something new in hand, and the crush
curl needs only a couple of plates, no rack or spotters.

We are already familiar with pulleys, mechanical advantage, purchase,
Newton's Law etc, having discussed them at some length a short while
ago.

However, the puzzle was why one arm moving the same weight was easier
than two, which Wikipediaź doesn't address at all.

Pete was able to explain it very clearly and a lot less cryptically,
and English is not his first language.

The link to Wikipediaź was not very helpful, particularly as all
normal reference to Wikipediaź here, is usually met with derision from
a couple of the resident 'gurus'.

recommend a protein powder - price isn't a huge concern, I'd just like something that tastes good and is relatively easy to mix suggestions?

glycogen storage - How many grams of carbohydrates can be stored as glycogen in the muscle and liver? I tried searching for a max amount in grams and came up with one figure, ~600 grams. I'm sure it probably also varies from person to person. An endurance athlete probably....

what do you try to eat before you work out? - do you try and eat anything specific before a workout, and at a specific amount of time before? I've been reading that a protein shake immediately after a workout mixed with some carbs is a good idea.

working out biceps, upper back with injured hands - I've got a hand injury which prevents me from gripping very hard. (RSI from typing too much.) I can still work out my chest and my triceps, because, on a bench press machine, you don't really have to grip the handles, you just push on them. I can't..
