Post subject: Save to swim after a gym workout?
Archived from groups: misc>fitness>aerobic (more info?)

Hi

My new gym has a pool and I was wanting to add swimming a few laps to my
fitness routine.

Is it generally OK after a gym workout or likely to cool muscles, cause
cramps or injuries etc?

If it's not OK I assume the same applies after an aerobics workout?

How about doing the swimming first; would that be safer with less chance of
stiff muscles, etc.

The pool is heated to normal Olympic pool standards.

Thanks for your kind help.

Sam
