I passed 200 almost right away when I started lifting...which was at the age
of 27, I'm sorry to say.

Mind you we're talking about max, here... not repping. I was doing push ups
for years, so I had a head start. A bit over a year later, and my current
max is 295 (at 185 lbs).

Which time? The first time was when I was 15 after lifting on and off
for 3 years. The second time was when I was 35 after lifting a month
or so.

It took me about a year to get to 100kg for a triple (220lbs). I started
out at a bodyweight of 65kg and was about 75kg when I did it. Before
that my training was inconsistent, so I really didn't progress very far
before I'd take a break and start all over again, and obviously didn't
maintain any of the meager gains in muscle I made during those periods.
I don't count those times, the year it took me was a year of
semi-consistent training. If I'd been dedicated and consistent, I would
have accomplished it faster.

I'm going to die rather sooner than I'd like. I tried to protect my
neighbours from crime, and became the victim of it. Complications in
hospital following this resulted in a serious illness. I now need a bone
marrow transplant. Many people around the world are waiting for a marrow
transplant, too. Please volunteer to be a marrow donor:

About 13. I had a really large girlfriend who liked to lay on top of
me and try to yank my crank. I got pretty good at throwing her off me.

It is not much for some people, but I started lifting at age 27. I weighed
140lbs, and all I wanted to do was to lift two wagon wheels (45lb plates).
When I did this, I was hooked, and my next goal was benching 200bls. My
starting bench was only 100lbs. After starting a 12 week program, I did it
in 10. Went from 140lbs to 175lbs. Still, the most exciting lifting moment
of my life.

My top lift is now around 225, and I weigh in at about 150lbs now (got out
of lifting for a couple of years, boo!).

I haven't dropped under 200 since high school, not even when I've taken
years off of lifting.
