Anyone here have MVP with slight regurgitation? If so, what did your doctor
tell you about weight lifting? I can't remember.. he either said that I
could die, or that I wouldn't die.

I don't get dizzy when doing intense workouts and I'm making progress.
gained 2 inches of biceps in 4 months and dropped 6% of fat. I can't see how
that's bad on my heart, but I wonder if the exertion is bad.

Anyone here have it? Is that what Arnold had, or was it a bicuspid valve?

It seems to me that there is a very important difference between "I
could die" and "I wouldn't die." That's the sort of difference that
would certainly stand out in my mind.

Instead of asking random cranks on the Internet perhaps you should
talk to your doctor again.

Good job on making progress. However, bigger guns aren't going to
help you if you are dead. Talk to your doctor.

Curt would know.

eh... ok. I left a voice message for my cardiologist. We'll see. OK. now,
I'm getting really nervous about what he's going to say when he calls back.

I don't mean to alarm you too much. You probably would have
remembered what your doctor had told you if he said that lifting could
kill you. Still, that's clearly an important bit of information to
have. You certainly wouldn't want to get it wrong.

"Hey this is Richard, did you say I could die or I wouldn't die if I lifted
weights? I'm off to the gym, so try me on my cell! Thanks."

Well, pretty much.. that's how it went. I said that I couldn't remember what
he told me and that I had been doing a lot of heavy lifting for several
months now.. I haven't died yet but he can reach me on my cell.

MVP with slight regurgitation isn't going to kill you no matter what you do.
If you get symptomatic...chest pain, hypotention, palpitations,
etcetera...you'll stop doing whatever you're doing until it passes, so,
CHILL OUT!
