There are also laws that apply to installment contracts in general, and
sometimes you will see a reference to those laws in the fine print or you
must sign and acknowledge that you were informed of this right. >> Stay informed about: Gym Membership Comparisons - is my plan good?? |

I know many people who have gym memberships. I don't know many who
actually go to the gyms.

Just go to the YMCA.
Also, some gyms have financial trouble. Did you ever watch what happened to
Bally? If a gym has large debt, the answer is bankruptcy, which excuses
them from providing the services in the old contracts.... The gym may or
may not continue to operate, but you would have to pay them *again* to
attend.

What units is the distance in? It had better not be miles. It had really
better not be kilometres!

Our PF is $59 to join and $10 per month. I think there is also a $20 annual
renewal fee. I don't recall if they allow you to go to other PF locations
with the membership. That would be another question to ask them. >> Stay informed about: Gym Membership Comparisons - is my plan good?? |

Come on, Tom! It's light-years, of course!
Actually, it looks like I copy/pasted the Wednesday distance (in
miles, yes) for 20 minutes to my *Thursday* journal. I just rechecked
the pen and paper log and it offers a more accurate measurement of
2.96 miles completed in that 41:01 minute span of time.
Thanks for noticing.
Monday, Oct. 15, 2007 = Life Cycle for 20 minutes and 1.16 mi distance
Tuesday, Oct. 16, 2007 = Life Cycle 65 minutes and 4.53 miles
Wednesday, Oct. 17, 2007 = Life Cycle for Cycle 20 minutes for 1.26
miles
Thursday, Oct. 18, 2007 = Life Cycle for 41:01 miles for, yeah, 2.96
miles.
Friday, Oct. 19, 2007 = Life Cycle for 25 minutes and 1.36 miles!
