If you are not bright enough to know the difference between "loose" and
"lose," then you deserve to be a fat ass.

I don't think loose fat would be an attractive look. And you don't
really need to LOSE fat, either.
Your problems do NOT relate to your looks. Your problems relate to you
OBSESSING over your looks.
Read that again.

Quite so Schuh, quite so! ;o)
NB (for the benefit of the OP)
According to the guru Brink, this is the only allowable spelling pull
at MFW. As usual of course, the diminutive yet plump "guru" is talking
out of his excitable and ignorant ring-piece. >> Stay informed about: Frustrated |

Well, there is nothing you can do to yourself in a couple of days for
the party apart from amputation. But
seriously................................
You are doing too much cardio and not enough weights.
Your calorie intake should be your basal metabolic rate (about 2000
calories a day) plus your exercise calories minus 10% at the most. Eat
any less than that and your body consumes itself to maintain its
protein consumption.
Get some good advice and find out what your really want to achieve.
Don;t kill yourself trying to look good in a hurry. No point being the
best looking corpse in the coffin >> Stay informed about: Frustrated |

His wife isn't saying he looks fat in his speedo. I'm not sure WHAT
she's saying, but I can't believe it's unprovoked comments: I get the
impression that the dude is making kissy noises in front of the mirror
and saying, "honey, do you think I'm cut?" "Feel this bicep". "Wanna
race me? I'd beat you because I'm so FAST!"
He's not hideous. They've got two small children. I guarantee you that
her problems are NOT with his looks.

Speedo to most people nowadays means a swim suit that fits like briefs,
not trunks.

Speak for yourself, boss. I doubt DZ or me are fat asses in our

If you'll forgive a serious answer, if you want to gain muscle, lift
more and run less. It's not more complicated than that. If you want
lifting advice, post a week's worth of a training log and we'll comment.
If you're wondering why the fat on your belly is the last to go, stop
wondering - you're like me and most other males. It's just the way it
works.
Serious answer #2 - cut back on carbs and salt between now and your pool
party. You will, if you low-to-no carb and eliminate salt, be able to
drop a pound or two or maybe even a bit more, depending on your normal
diet. You basically want to eat like a weight-class lifter in the days
before a meet - steak, salad, and coffee. It takes a day or two to kick
in, though, so if you cut out carbs and salt starting Friday morning,
you'll likely not see a change on Saturday but might by Sunday. If you
find yourself having to pee all the time for a few hours, you'll know
it's working.
