My gym, LA Fitness, has some free motion machines, which are
apparently some of
the most expensive macines in the gym. I did my chest, bicep and
triceps on them.
I was very impressed with the chest and tricep exercises (as compared
to free weights)
but not as much with the bicep exercise.

Has anybody used these machines? If you did, what did you think?

Are they really that expensive? On the surface the chest machine
doesn't look much different than a Total Gym to me. The squat machine
looks like it might be good, sort of like a Tru-Squat. Have you tried
the leg extension machine? For some reason it does not look like it
would feel right at all for the quads.

NO. LA Fitness does not have the one for squat and I haven't seen one
for leg extension. My question is, are the effects the same/better/
worse than doing these exercises with free weights?
