Post subject: The Eat Clean Diet Book???
Archived from groups: misc>fitness>weights (more info?)

I read in my recent Musclemag (May 07 Issue) and they make a
recommendation
of
the following book for nutrition info....

Tosca Reno's - The Eat Clean Diet

Has anyone read this, if so what is the central theme of the book and is
it
worth a BUY?

I just avoid wasting money, but I want to get the nutrition side of my
weightlifting in order to help my gains be more visible etc..

TIA,
_Bigred

It's tough to see why one would need a book on this subject. Eating
clean generally means whole, fresh foods as much as possible, e.g., we
do our best around here to buy organic food and to keep things like
Twinkies, soda, potatoe chips, and prepared foods to a minimum. It
costs a bit more, and takes a bit more time - those are the downsides.

There are diet groups on Usenet where you can discuss the finer points
of this; suffice it to say that exercise is important, and that's the
part that this newsgroup can help you with if you need.
