Can someone suggest a dumbbell exercise to develop the outside part of
the bicep, as opposed to the inside or underarm part. I don't know
what it's called so I'm describing as best I can.
I'd like to get more definition in this area and I'm wondering if there
is a specific exercise that can target this.
Thanks!

I do understand about the relationship between body fat percentage and
definition. I'm working on it. Thanks.

http://www.exrx.net/Exercise.html

What you want is the "Muscle Body Map" You click on the muscle that
you want to work, and it shows you nice diagram of the anatomy
involved (including the name of the muscle), and a list of exercises
for the muscle complete with instructions.

You also might want to check out:

http://www.bsu.edu/webapps/strengthlab/Home.htm

This site is similar, but it doesn't have the anatomy diagrams. It
does, however, have videos of the exercises involved.

Reminds me of a joke. This foreign looking guy goes to a drug store and asks
for a deodorant - the druggist asks "do you want the 'ball' type?" - the
guy says "No no, for the underarms!"

The main exercises for definition include table push aways and
fork put downs.

As far as working the outer biceps, look up hammer curls.

"Aerosol?"

"No, underarms, please".

I'm here all week. Try the spuds.

So was your description. You also seem blissfully unaware of the
relationship between body fat percentage and definition. I have to
wonder if your even talking about the biceps, or if you mean the
brachialis. Hammer curls might help, but being able to do weighted
chinups, heavy deadlifts, and table pushaways would probably be more
helpful.

I'm going to die rather sooner than I'd like. I tried to protect my
neighbours from crime, and became the victim of it. Complications in
hospital following this resulted in a serious illness. I now need a bone
marrow transplant. Many people around the world are waiting for a marrow
transplant, too. Please volunteer to be a marrow donor:

Actually 'table pushaways' is nice and easy as it only requires 1 rep

But generally 3 or more sets.
