Yes, I noticed that, too. I put in 280 lb. as current max and the
software directed to perform 280 lb. x 2 in the very first workout of
the cycle. There's a trick.
Still, that was with a 370 lb. new max as a goal which the software was
forced to squeeze into a 10-week program. Obviously, realistic
expectations must be taken into account.
Your example of 250 to 500 borders on, no, *steps all over* the
ridiculous, Steve.
My last deadlift workout, I did 250 lbs. x 3 sets of 6 reps. I
certainly wouldn't expect my max to double in ten weeks regardless of
the computer program's suggested schedule. But I can set a realistic
goal of 275 lbs. x 3 sets of 6 reps, imo.
