I am new to this newsgroup. So I am not sure if in the past there has been a
thread in this regard. I am looking for good strength training videos.
Something that covers safety issues with different exercises as well as
their variations. I am between advanced and intermediate levels. Thanks in
advance.

See: "Search this group"

Does it have to be a video?

Certainly, http://www.exrx.net/ExInfo.html would be a reasonable first
step or look-see.

Best of luck.

Thanks Curt. I think watching something is more effective than reading it,
that's why I prefer videos/DVD's over books. Exercise descriptions are
sometimes vague in books. In the past I used to use Arnold's book, but I
found out that some of the pictures didn't match the exercise description
and safety issues of some exercises like deadlifts weren't addressed at all.
So I pretty much gave up on it

Well, exrx offers animated gifs at least. Which Arnold book? The
encyclopedia?

Check out http://www.mesomorphosis.com/store/index.html for
bodybuilding DVDs. I picked up Mark Dugdale's Driven. Excellent stuff.
Not sure what to recommend, but take a spin around and see what's
there.

http://www.gmv.com.au/ would be another site to check out. I've never
ordered from them, but Wayne Gallasch is certainly a name I'd trust.

Best of luck.

This site's pretty good too. Similar to exrx but the vids are a little
better.
