Any advice much appreciated:

I am looking to purchase a cross trainer. Thinking of spending a max
of about £8000 (USD1400), but preferably only about £600. Looking for
something I can push quite hard, maybe say 100rpm.

Anyway, can you recommend which manufacturers to look at, and also
which online stores (UK) are best? Alternatively, which actual stores
in NW/CEntral London are good? Would really appreciate this.

I saw a Bremshey today

Is this a good machine? How about this one

Thanks for the help

Hello,

I'm by no means an expert, but I have recently bought a cross trainer
from:-

http://www.exercisezone.co.uk

Their service was excellent, I couldn't fault them. I called for
advice first. When the guy I spoke to couldn't answer one of my
questions, he said he would call the manufacturer and get back to me
or offered me the number if I wanted to contact them myself. I ordered
on line, and my cross trainer arrived a week later. The delivery
company were equally helpful and managed to give me a fairly accurate
time so I didn't have to hang around all day.

I bought a Proform 585EKG, and I paid about £289 for it. I'd describe
it as 'entry level' so it may not be what you're after but they have
plenty of others to chose from. I'm pleased with the Proform, it's
good value for money. The only gripe I have with it is there's no
advice on how you should adjust it - a question I have posted here for
some advice.

Hope that helps some.

Cheers

K.
