Post subject: Question regarding Cross trainers?

Hi all,

I've recently discovered this forum after deciding I need to do a little more exercise to keep in shape after changing to an office job, sitting in a chair all day isn't doing me much good...

I don't want to look into doing a heavy workout, or spending too much on lots of equipment which over time would probably just get neglected, so I was looking into cross trainers.

Is something like this any good just for occasional exercise to keep a reasonably healthy lifestyle?

I think 1 piece of equipment would be better for me than lots of equipment, seeing as I also have space constraints where I live. Just wanted to hear some thoughts on how they actually help the body.

Cheers
