You can see some emaciated bodies/people with a layer of fat on their
bellies. In other words, the muscle was atrophied yet the body was
clinging to some fat.

Aha -- so it does matter when we eat! Since digestion is "most easily
done when...not otherwise exerting"....

So I'm back to Square One. I think Hobbes here had said that it
doesn't matter when we eat, but Muscle101.com claims that if one's to
eat sugary foods, it's best done in the morning hours as a part of
breakfast! I certainly find sugary or starchy foods most satisfying
early on a drowsy morning myself....

I work out so hard, my concern now is that I may be just spinning my
wheels...I know I don't get enough rest -- I think I only have a full
eight hours of sleep once a month, if even that; it's usually five or
six hours, tops, for various reasons...but little by little, now that
I'm not so young anymore -- and so can't just do whatever I want
however I want whenever I want -- I'm looking into details about diet
and so forth in order to compensate...but there's just so much
conflicting advice, all of which sound like common sense, stuff I can
personally relate to!

Are you sure that they weren't simply skinny-fat clerks who never
exercised in their life?

Distended bellies are a sign of starvation. They are still low in body
fat.

Try to keep up Keith. I never mentioned distended bellies nor do I
think you would see one on a dead person in a German concentration
camp as it's a condition that usually occurs after eating.

Sorry, but I won't. I don't watch TV and even if I would, I wouldn't
watch anything about Auschwitz. I'm from Poland, and we were bored to
death with this stuff. I remember that when we went on an obligatory
excursion to Auschwitz in high school, I slept through the supposedly
scary movie they shown there. Everybody had fun, because I snorted.

I think you digest better. At least, when you are resting.

Being active straight after a meal doesnt make sense anyway. The nutrients
are not availeble for several hours to come.

The usual sequence is that you hunt, and then eat. So you HAVE to rest. For
the next hunt.

Other then cats, which sleep all day, i only raised a few reptiles.
If you want them to get active, you have to stop feeding them for a week or
so.

Really ?!?!?!

I mean, you never watch TV? EVER?

I get anxiety attacks when even a few channels dont come through. Really, i
do.
I had a few problems with the new digital receivers, and at times i would
actually hyperventilate.

> I wouldn't watch anything about Auschwitz. I'm from Poland, and we were

Oh, i heard that!
We get that stuff forced down our throat in elementary school.

Give it a rest. It doesnt matter anymore.

Weird. A scary movie in Auschwith.

I would never go to Auschwitz. I am a little supersticious. Too many deaths.

Is it true you dont hear any birds within that proximity?

> Everybody had fun, because I snorted.

I worked among heroin addicts in the nineties. I basically sat behind the
couter and checked them in. It was a 9-9 graveyard shift.
Around 2, i would fell asleep. And sometimes the addicts woke me up because
i made too much noise. And they were at least 6-7 meters away, AND behind a
closed door.

One guy actually pushed my shoulder for several minutes before i would wake
up.

I watch boxing and football when Polish team plays a match. Sometimes
news, but that's it. Now, when our Inet provider canceled download
limits, I watch sometimes some TV programs recorded on YouTube.
Recently I've seen new Top Gear and High Stakes Poker. Both pretty
good.

Actually I'd be glad if our TV broke down. Women watch constantly soap
operas, and our granny is weak on hearing...

I hope so.

When you went there those times, you would go to a cinema within the
camp which showed a documentary with all those bodies and so on. You
could say that it was drastic, but not so much for someone who seen
most of it several times.

I don't recall any, but it was winter. Anyway, I hear about it first time,
so it's most probably bullshit.

I'm not so bad to wake up and I never heard myself snorting. Wink

The same thing I always say. If animals rested when they were hungry they
would starve to death in the wild (in an area of food scarcity).

My GF and I half-adopted a cat a while back that didn't get fed very much
and it was very active. Now that her mother takes care of her (with a huge
bowl of food always available) she sleeps all day and is incredibly lazy.
This is why I am trying to get her to stop overfeeding our current cats.
She is a cat fat acceptor.

The Poles did an admirable job at the outset of WW2, lasting far longer than the French
despite fighting an instant two-front war... and their underground and resistance intelligence
operations provided key information to the Allies.

Now, if only they'd dump Cyrillic for a READABLE alphabet...
