In answer to your Q, iffin you do real exercise, visavis this bullshit they
do in rehab/pt/informercials, muscle fibers won't shrink/disappear.
iow, they shrink/disappear precisely because you are *not* trying to
increase, or even maintain, strength.
Which is why, imo, these motorized scooters for seniors are the P/T
equivalent if giving heroin to school kids. *Devastating* from a
health/fitness/longevity/QOL pov.
