Will,
If you have seen, Pete and I have been going back and forth about Vic
Richards and Dorian. He is saying that Vic made Dorian look bad at an
exhibition years ago. While that is only Pete's opinion, I don't think
he quite gets what Dorian looked like on stage at contest time. No
matter what someone looks like at a guest posing, Dorian looked like no
one I have ever seen in person. It is a real art form to peaking for a
contest and no matter what a guy like Vic Richards looked like walking
around or in the gym, unless he was able to stand next to Dorian on
stage, his muscle is basically a moot point. I think Pete needs another
person to describe what Dorian looked like in contest shape. I also
think that anyone who still thinks about Vic being bigger or better
needs to see those black and whites that Kevin Norton took of Dorian
before one of the Olympias. Those were THE most amazing BBing photos I
have ever seen.

i used to have that issue, but i have since misplaced it. i know what
pics you're referring to--i believe they were in the sept. '93 issue of
flex. i think you're talking about the ones where the older mullet'ed
pic of dorian was on the left, and the newer pics with his flattop were
one the right...and he just looks like he's turned into a monster. the
thing i most remember about those pics are his calves and forearms.
the pics are in this dingy grainy brown and white...and are nearly
incomprehensible.
i've only ever been able to find one of those pics online, and i have
it on my desktop. >> Stay informed about: ? for Will Brink about Dorian |

I told Hodges and I'll tell you: I don't care if you hate my guts. I'm
going to stop being rude to you.
I've got a pic of Lenda as my desktop - a nude by Bill Dobbins from
1995. Stunning. Anyway, any fan of bodybuilding can't be all bad*. Good

You are assuming i havent seen those?
But now you are contradicting yourself, because in those pics, while i think
he looked amazing, he wasnt in contest shape yet.
He was still holding water, which was obvious in his face, and a bit in his
body.
I guess he weighed about 270 in those pictures, and i thought he looked
better there then onstage, before the DIURETICS did their magical work...

Did I ever say I knew Dorian nor did I say a thing about knowing all the
pros, so your entire post is now 100% irrelevant. Why can't you address the
facts? You can't challenge my background either. I have been there and you
have not. I spent a full year training at Venice, Golds, have been back stage
at shows like the USA, Nationals, Arnold and Olympia. I have worked out a
contract with Joe Weider in person in his office and I have been in a photos
shoot with him. I also have worked with a # of top BBers. The only things you
know are hearsay that you get from biased BBing rags. I have also competed
which you have not, so overall, you really should refrain from trying to
attack my background and you should address the facts. The bottom line is
that no matter what you say, Vic is only a good BBer in the eyes of guys like
you. Unless you get on stage, you are a nobody in BBing. To be completely
honest, you have no way of backing up anything you say about yourself even.
There is no way to verify that this is your real name and from what I know,
you have never even posted a photo of yourself. For all we know, you could
weigh 135 or 300 and fat.

You said you trained Olympia level BBers. You want me to Google it?

I never did. I acckowledge the fact that you competed at the National level,
and was a pretty good middle weight bodybuilder. I never said you werent.

True.
You competed, i didnt. But that doesnt mean you are right and i am wrong.

Excuse me?
Did i attack your background? How?
By saying Dorian has never heard of you?
Name a few Pros you worked with then.

True.
And you dont have to take DIURETICS.

What did i say about myself?

How do i know that Robert Schuh is your real name? How?
And why are you so obsessed with "real" names? Why Robert?
> you have never even posted a photo of yourself.
Thats bullshit.
I posted a pic were i was about 250. Not the sharpest, but a few here can
verify that that weight is correct.
2 years ago, i was 134 kilos, after a cycle with 1000 test/400 deca/50
Anadrol/40 Dianabol.
Right now, due to "circumstanses", my fluctuates between 250-270, and i am
slowly sliding from 260 to 250.
Buit that is going up again.

I know both of those guys and they both have something to add. Seen Dorian
compete several times, seen Vic guest pose. Vic carries more LBM on his
frame then any human I have ever seen. He was a monster a decade before
the crop of monsters we have now. And strong?, you have no idea. Vic didnt
get the press because he refused to compete. Having said that, What does
size alone have to do with winning high level shows? At that level,
everyone is packed with muscle, so it comes to conditioning, posing, etc.
First time I saw Dorian walk out of stage it was like there was Dorian,
and everyone else. Second place was open the minute he walked out on
stage. Pics did not do him justice I can tell you. He had a type of
granite hardness no one else could touch, he had good semetry for such a
big man, and he could pose. He blew everyone else away. I don't know if
Vic has the willpower or genetics to get into IFBB level conditioning. Vic
also has some issues, such as high lats and such. Off season guest posing
is just that, and the biggest roundest person looks impressive. Vic would
be larger then Dorian and that might get the neophites all wet in the
panties....bottom line, Dorian is probably the greatest bber who ever was
and Vic does not warrent a comparison. Vics a nice guy and I get on with
him well, but that's the truth. >> Stay informed about: ? for Will Brink about Dorian |

Perhaps I schreefed too soon! ;o) But 370 is what's offered at

science fiction, isn't it? Maybe that's a typo. Especially, as it says
