I've been a Bowflex owner for over 3 years now, best investment I've
ever made!!! Lost 25lbs my first 8 months on the program and have since
developed my own routine which has served me well.

Currently considering the free-weights..

I read your article on getting 6 pack abs. You left a few things out.
1. When it comes to burning the fat doing cardio you failed to mention that
the caridio MUST be done at 70% on max heart rate that is the rate the body
start to burn fat.
2. You are teaching how to perform the ab exercise incorrect. Before even
beginning the exercise you must contarct the abs toward the floor for the
muscles to activate and fatigue The way to teach this to tell the client to
imagine there is a string attached to the belly button and comes out the
back, imagine someone is pulling on the string and the abs are being pulled
into the center of the body. If abs exercise is not done this way two things
will happen 1. when crunch is done the muscles will get bigger toward the
front of the abs and a bulge will appear as if the person is getting fat.
2nd the abs wont get stronger.

What is your basis for making this statement? Sounds like you are
propagating an urban myth here. Are you telling us that all the
concentration camp prisoners that came out looking like skeletons, had
higher than 70% heart rate all the time?

On the contrary, the percentage of fat to carbs as the source of energy
decreases as heart rate increases.

Oh Puh-lease! Where're my boots? It's getting pretty deep in here.
Is there any reason you posted this other than to attract derision?

And you even have a website. How quaint.

works well. i didn't buy it for abs, i use straps and and an abslide for
that. i bookmarked your webpage. thanks again.

Bowflex SPAM. Is that not a first for MFW?

Which are cheaper and more effective.
